Fairy House Spring Scavenger Hunt

Throughout March – May Fairies are hidden throughout the forest if you look hard enough! Come hike our trails to search for their fairy homes made from tiny natural objects. Earn Nature Exchange points as you find them along the way. (Included with General Admission and Free to CNC Members)

After School Explorer

Join us in a series of crash courses in a variety of naturalist and heritage fields. These classes are based on a new theme each month with “ology” (a suffix meaning the scientific study of). This month: Geology (ages 8-12).

Trail Hike

Explore the trails of the Chattahoochee Nature Center with a docent led walk through the forest or wetland.  The walks are suitable for all ages and will include stops to explore the Chattahoochee Watershed and learn about the plants and animals.  Hands on biofacts will be available to enhance the experience.

Junior Ranger Day Camp Level I (Deer Patch)

This camp is for children ages 6-12 who have not previously been in a Junior Ranger program. This program focuses on attaining the Level I Deer Badge. There will be a nature/history hike to the New Manchester Mill, a live reptile program, and nature-oriented arts and craft projects. Registration is necessary. Meet at the Visitor’s Center.
