Berries, Bears & Breakfast

This interactive outdoor program is designed to give 4 and 5 year olds an opportunity to spend some time enjoying and experiencing Nature.   Your child will begin to learn the names of local animals and plants, sing songs that awaken their senses and enjoy being outside. Each session will include a short discovery walk and is geared toward the young child and their parents.   Please dress accordingly to the weather.  You may also bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the grounds at the conclusion of the program. This program requires an adult to join in the activities with their child. (Only one adult per each child.)

7th Annual 18th Century Market Faire

Go back to 1790s Georgia with frontier camps, native warriors, blacksmithing, woodworking, candle making, period dance and music, children’s activities, and more. Children under 12 free. Thursday and Friday are free for school groups. Located at the fort.

Toddler Trek – Little Bunnies

Rascally Rabbits: We know that they’re Cuddly and cute but how do rabbits spend their day and where can they be found.  Spend some time at the EHC exploring the secret lives of Georgia’s rabbits.

Twilight Paddle

Come out to Fort Yargo to enjoy peaceful night out on Lake Marbury under the bright moon. Learn about the history of the Fort while paddling with family. Space is limited; Pre-registration is required.
