Azalea Festival

The 2016 Valdosta – Lowndes Azalea Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13. Attendees from all over the Southeast will enjoy one of our area’s beautiful parks filled with more than 140 vendors, three stages of entertainment, a huge food court, a 5K race, a 1-mile fun walk/run, and a KidZone with a waterball ride, frisbee chasing k-9s, inflatable attractions, children’s train ride, pony rides, a rock wall, a live tiger presented by Tiger Stripes Animal Sanctuary, carriage rides, and a Humane Society pet contest. Other areas of the park will feature a classic car and bike show (motorcycles on Saturday, cars on Sunday), a mechanical bull ride, racing pigs, a plant sale by Wiregrass Technical College, roaming clowns and jugglers, a euro-bungee ride, and a whole lot more! This event has become a regional festival attracting vendors and attendees from all over the southeastern United States.
