Urban Forest Explorers: Homeschool Edition

Sunny weather and a fresh breeze means it time for explorers to get back to the Arboretum! This session will include learning about native flowers in the prairie,service learning through weeding and a nature craft to take to take home.

Homeschoolers and unschoolers are invited to play and learn with like-minded kids at the Trees Atlanta TreeHouse. Our homeschool programs are designed for the a-typical thinker who seeks a personal connection to Atlanta’s urban forest. We offer a unique blend of exploration on the Atlanta BeltLine, environmental education and urban forest crafts for ages 7-13.

– All explorers need to bring a brown bag lunch.
– Please note this is a student only event. Parents are welcomed to drop off their student(s) at 10:00 a.m. and return for pick-up at 1:00 p.m.
